Please join us, Sounds Musical Theatre Company for our forthcoming production Broadway award winning musical show 'Funny Girl'. This bio - musical tells the joyous, amusing and sometimes poignant story of Fanny Brice's rise from Brooklyn Music Hall to the glittering stage of Broadway in the Ziegfeld Follies.
Like so many women of her time she had put up a feisty struggle to fight her corner to achieve this dream, fighting prejudice and dealing with her tempestuous yet adoring relationship with her husband Nick Arnstein.
With songs like People Who Need People and the triumph- through- tears Don't Rain On My Parade this is a 'must see ' musical show at the iconic theatre Devonport Playhouse, Plymouth, March 13th-16th.
