2020 marked the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower, which saw the passengers and crew sail to America seeking a new life and opportunities. 

The Mayflower voyage is one of the most influential journeys in global history and a defining moment in the shared history of Britain, the US, the Netherlands and the Wampanoag - more than 30 million people can trace their ancestry back to the passengers and crew on board.
