The Boathouse Café
The Boathouse Café is a seafood café and restaurant set in a unique location in the fisherman’s arches opposite the Mayflower Steps, just a stone’s throw from Plymouth’s historic Barbican. With a seasonal family friendly menu and some of the best waterfront views in the city, it’s a great location for dinner with the family!

Boston Tea Party
Based in Jamaica House on Sutton Harbour, Boston Tea Party has been designed in its own unique character. With two floors of seating, a flower enclosed court yard and views across the marina towards the Barbican, Boston Tea Party is perfect for a family brunch or early evening summer supper. In the downstairs area there's access and space for buggies and more seating too.
The Terrace Café
Tucked away on the cliff face of Plymouth Hoe, the Terrace Café is the place for eating out with your family in Plymouth this summer whilst enjoying incredible views across the Sound. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a children’s menu and with a fully licensed bar there’s no better way to spend a summer’s evening.
Hook & Line
The Hook & Line, found in Royal William Yard, serves a mix of the freshest seafood delights, caught by local fishing boats, from mackerel paté on toasted artisan bread and fish or veggie tacos, to pan fried scallops, lobster and fries and traditional fish and chips. There's a menu for the little sailors including fish & chips, tacos, monkfish, chicken goujons and more.
Armado Lounge
One of the Barbican's newer eateries, Armado Lounge offers food for any time of the day, and is a perfect spot to stop during your day out with the family. The menu caters from everyone with deals throughout the week. For kids, there is snack pots, little lounge classics, puddings and you can even build your own dish.
The Stable
At the heart of the harbour, you'll find The Stable moored in Plymouth's bustling Barbican waterfront. With terrace views out over the riggings, there's plenty to see when you stop in for a meal with the family. Their delicious pizzas break all the rules - with sourdough bases, homemade tomato sauce and locally sourced toppings piled high, as well as deals for kids and delicious snacks.
