About us
Plymouth Swim, in the sheltered waters of Barn Pool Beach. It's a stunning location in the heart of Mount Edgcumbe Country Park & just a short ferry ride from Plymouth
We are offering three distances 750m (1 lap) 1500m (2 laps) & 3K (4 laps). nb we are using the same 750m lap for all three distances as a longer course runs the risk of swimmers hitting the strong current that's further out from the beach.
Kit Requirements
Just a swim suit and goggles. Wet suits will not be required for this swim However for first time open water swimmers they are highly recommended. They will keep you warmer and provide buoyancy that will make swimming easier. Short wetsuits or armless wetsuits are also permitted.
