About us

Plymouth choir Phoenix Chorale is presenting a evening of wonderful choral music for Christmas with carols old and new, including Bob Chilcott's Song of the Crib, Will Todd's A Boy was Born, Philip Stopford's Lully Lulla, Howard Blake's Walking in the Air, Michael John Trotta's Veni veni Emmanuel and The Shepherds' Farewell by Hector Berlioz. We will also perform Ave Regina Caelorum, a piece specially composed for the choir by one of our singers Trevor Vicary. Mulled wine & mince pies available as well as our annual raffle. Tickets £12 from www.ticketsource.co.uk or £14 on the door, under 18s free.
Phoenix Chorale rehearses and performs regularly at St Peter's and enjoys singing a wide range of music from early musicians through to current composers from all over the world. They often work with professional soloists and musicians and, as a registered charity, also try to provide opportunities for young people to perform with them. New members are always welcomed.
