About us
Come along to Ivybridge Donkey Sanctuary this October half term for a free day out and a detailed day of donkey care demonstrations directed by our very own adoption donkeys, Pooh and Eeyore.Welcoming our donkey adopters past, present and future to a unique day featuring educational demonstrations on all aspects of donkey care.
Opportunities to participate in various donkey activities. From dentists to vets and farriers to welfare, you will be sure to learn something new about donkeys!
Visitors will have the chance meet the resident herd of donkeys, including Pooh and Eeyore who will take centre stage for some of the demonstrations. People can find out how adopting these two special donkeys enables the charity to continue reaching donkeys across the world.
There will be many autumnal activities for everyone to enjoy and visitors will be able get creative in the craft area, make enrichment items for the donkeys and create crafts to take home, as well as finding out how staff adapt their donkey care for changes in the seasons.
The Donkey World shop will be stacked with all sorts of donkey-inspired goodies, which make ideal gifts, or a perfect souvenir of the day.
All proceeds help fund the work of The Donkey Sanctuary in the community and worldwide.
