Burgh Island is an iconic landmark on the South Devon coast. Dominated by the art deco Burgh Island Hotel, it is separated from the mainland by a tidal beach. Access is on foot across the beach at low tide, but when the sea comes in, the island can be accessed on the towering sea tractor.
