Exhibitions
Plymouth plays host to a number of locally produced and nationally touring exhibitions throughout the year.
Venues such as Plymouth Arts Cinema, The Gallery at Plymouth College of Art and The Arts Institute have a rolling programme of high quality shows on display. Admission to these exhibitions is usually free and all the venues are within a short walking distance from each other so it’s easy to visit more than one in a day.
The Box is the place where Plymouth's heritage meets contemporary art. Home to nine permanent galleries, it also has changing exhibition spaces showcasing everything from incredible contemporary art to priceless historic artefacts.
