About us
The Drake's Island Paddle is a fun SUP race on Sunday 7th July at South West SUP in Royal William Yard. Taking place on the same day as the Chestnut Appeal Drake's Island Swim, any profits generated from the event will be donated to the charity.With full water safety cover, this event is the perfect introduction to SUP racing for all abilities and levels of experience with a distance of 2km. There is also the opportunity to compete as a team on one of our 4 person or 8 person SUPs.
There will be prizes from our sponsors Hatha Paddle Boards and Steel Brew Co for first 3 places, first teams as well as spot prizes. There'll also be food and refreshments available at South West SUP on the day and fun land based activities to keep paddlers
and their supporters entertained.
