On 4th August 2019 from 10am – 12pm, Cornwall's Regimental Museum at Bodmin Keep is holding a special 'relaxed opening' specially for people with autism or sensory processing disorders. It's a special event where the museum opens its doors, so visitors can enjoy the museum at its quietest and at their own pace, with specially designed hands-on activities.There will be a special Spy themed craft activity, historic object handling and a sensory room available to make this an extra special museum visit. The event runs at a flexible pace, so visitors can get involved in activities if they wish to do so, or they can simply take in the collections and enjoy the spaces in their own way.
