About us
Visit Drake’s Island by SUP and enjoy a delicious cream tea or coffee and pastries on the beach. Learn about the amazing history, wildlife and marine ecology of the island and Plymouth Sound. You will also have the opportunity to swim, rockpool and beachcomb on a secluded stretch of golden sand.
Meet at our historic Royal William Yard location. Our experienced instructors will take you through all the essentials of SUP safety and technique in the shelter of Firestone Bay. You will then be guided by SUP across to Drake's Island, the jewel of Plymouth Sound. As you paddle round the island , our knowledgeable SUP guides will add details on the amazing history, wildlife and marine ecology that surrounds you. You will land on the golden sand of a secluded beach for delicious, locally sourced refreshments. There will be time to relax, have a dip or beachcomb before you jump back on board and paddle back to Royal William Yard with epic tales to tell.
All equipment including wetsuits and buoyancy aids provided. No experience required.
