March sees spring arrive in Plymouth. As the days get longer and we welcome back the (hopefully) warmer weather, there are plenty of exciting events to look forward to in Plymouth throughout the month.

Last chance to see Dazzle! Devonport's Festival of Light

Don't miss the chance to see Plymouth sparkle at Dazzle! Devonport's Festival of Light, which finishes on 2 March. Commemorating 200 years of Devonport, the installation will transform heritage buildings and public spaces with jaw-dropping projections, immersive art and interactive activities.

Men's Day Out returns

Men's Day Out returns for a memorable day of miles, mates and good company for 2025. The fundraising day for St Luke's Hospice sees men take on a 12km walk throughout the city, finishing with a well-earned pasty, pint and a rugby match to watch at Plymouth Albion. The annual day out is now in its 11th year, having raised more than £1 million since its inception in 2014.

Don't miss Osman Yousefzada exhibition at The Box

The Osman Yousefzada: When Will we be good enough? exhibiton comes to an end at The Box Plymouth on Sunday 9 March. The exhibition asks when will we ever move forward from a centuries-old reality where power and control are in the hands of the few. It features sculptures and textiles all of which tell stories of global power that are as relevant today as they have been for centuries.

DevCon Plymouth Sci Fi Film and Comic Fair

Head to Crowne Plaza on Sunday 2 March for DevCon Sci Fi Film and Comic Fair. Head to the hotel where you can meet TV and film stars, snap incredible photos, browse over 10 unique traders, and connect with talented comic artists and writers. Enter the cosplay competition, enjoy exciting activities, and win fantastic prizes.

Plymouth Hoe Bike Nights

Motorbike fanatics will love to hear that Bike Nights are returning to Plymouth Hoe every Thursday from 6 March. Head to The Hoe, and discover hundreds of motorcycles, motorcycle trade stands, fast food catering and live music on selected evenings.

Unmissable shows at Theatre Royal Plymouth

Theatre Royal Plymouth has a packed programme of shows set to take to the stage throughout March 2025.

Don't miss Mary Poppins which runs until Saturday 29 March. The story of the World's favourite nanny arriving on Cherry Tree Lane is even more magical than ever before featuring dazzling choreography, incredible effects and unforgettable songs. Among the other shows on this month include a story of dance at Roshni and the family-friendly show, The Little Red Hen.

Plymouth Brick Festival

Brick Festival is back in Plymouth once again! The dream day out for any Lego lover, head to Plymouth Life Centre on Sunday 16 March for a day full of Lego building fun. Discover a vast collection of brand-new Lego displays, activities, speed-building competitions and so much more throughout the day.

An Evening with Tony Bellew

Boxing legend Tony Bellew is on his way to Home Park Stadium this month. Get your tickets and head to the stadium to hear a night of stories from the former boxing world champion on Friday 14 March.
