Plymouth is a music hub this year with plenty of live gigs set to take place throughout the year. World-class acts, tribute bands and even sea shanty favourites are among the performers set to star in Britain's Ocean City throughout 2025.
TK Maxx presents Plymouth Summer Sessions
Plymouth Summer Sessions is back again for another year on Plymouth Hoe from 13-15 June 2025! Get your tickets now, and head up to the Hoe for four days of live music this June. It's set to be an unforgettable weekend of music with James, Pendulum, The Corrs with special guest Natalie Imbruglia and Snow Patrol all set to headline this year's festival.
Armed Forces Day
Don't miss a whole day of music at Armed Forces Day this June. Throughout the day, where Plymouth comes together to celebrate the Armed Forces, there will be a full programme of music taking place on the performance stage overlooking Plymouth Sound.
Big Tribute Festival
The ever-popular Big Tribute Festival returns to Central Park from 31 July until 3 August. It's impossible to miss the ginormous tent in the park, get your tickets and rock on to the amazing performances set to take place across the four days.
Music at Home Park Stadium
The iconic Home Park Stadium, home to Plymouth Argyle FC, becomes a music hub in the offseason with three music festivals set to take place over the second May bank holiday. The weekend kicks off with Live at Argyle on Thursday 22 May. Rock band Kaiser Chiefs headline the festival with support from Indie solo artist Jake Bugg.
The weekend of live music continues on Saturday 24 May when eletcronic music festival, Alive at Argyle, takes over the pitch. Following its huge success in 2024, the festival is set to be popular once again with the full lineup set to be announced.
Lastly, Mel C, Marvin Humes, Tinchy Stryder round off the weekend on Sunday 25 May with Relive at Argyle. Tickets are on sale now for the family-favourite festival which caps off an unforgettable few days at the football stadium.
Sophie Ellis Bextor
Murder on the Dancefloor singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor comes to the Theatre Royal Plymouth as part of her headline UK Tour. Appearing on stage this June, the show will feature songs from throughout Sophie's career including 'Murder On The Dancefloor', 'Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)', 'Take Me Home (A Girl Like Me)', and her latest single 'Freedom Of The Night'.
Ruckus Festival
Ruckus Fest brings a weekend of live music to Plymouth Albion RFC's stadium this 4-6 July. Headline performers at the festival include Tom Meighan, the voice of Kasabian, The Feeling, The Specials and more.
Saturday Sessions at The Square
Live music arrives in Plymouth city centre on the first Saturday of every month with Saturday Sessions at The Square. Head to the newly-refurbished Old Town Square and discover a diverse range of artists perfroming throughout the year.
Fisherman's Friends
Fisherman's Friends are performing in Plymouth to celebration of performing together for more than 30 years on stage. Coming to Plymouth on the 30 August, get ready for an evening of shanties and jolly singing as part of their UK tour.
