Bonfire Night returns to Plymouth on Tuesday 5 November!
Get ready for an unforgettable evening on Plymouth Hoe with a fairground, a bonfire plus an unmissable firework display over The Citadel.

What time do the displays start?
The Bonfire starts at 7pm in the evening. It will be shortly followed at 7:30pm by the firework display.
Where is it?
The fun takes place on Plymouth Hoe and the fireworks will be let off over The Citadel.
When does the fairground close?
The fairground closes at 10pm on The Promenade.
Can I watch online?
There is no online stream available for this event.
Will the displays happen if it rains?
The event will go ahead unless it is officially announced. Follow Visit Plymouth or What's On Plymouth for official announcements/updates regarding the event.
Is the event free?
The Bonfire and firework displays are free to watch on Plymouth Hoe. However, admission to the fairground rides and catering services will incur a fee.
Is the event dog-friendly?
As the event is on public space there are no restrictions, however, we do advise due to the loud noises throughout the event do not bring dogs who may be scared of the noise.
Is there food on site?
There is a wide variety of food and drink vendors in Plymouth Hoe that will be open from 5pm onwards.
What else shall I bring?
We advise you to come prepared for Bonfire Night. Given its location near the sea, as well as the time of year, it can get quite cold up on the Plymouth Hoe in the evening. Dress appropriately and bring layers to avoid feeling the chills. Dispose of any waste at the many on-site bins.
