Bring your golf clubs to Plymouth and make the most of the stunning courses in the city and the surrounding areas. From waterfront courses, to parkland paradises overlooking the city, there are plenty of golf courses, and driving range facilities to try in and around Plymouth.

China Fleet Golf Club

Explore a range of golfing fun at China Fleet Golf Club in Saltash. Just minutes away from Plymouth across the Tamar Bridge, the 18-hole parkland course is set in the Cornish countryside alongside the river Tamar and has holes varying in difficulty and hazards.

If you're fancying just a range session before the tee off on the course fear not as China Fleet's driving range is powered by Top Tracer offering an engaging, data-driven experience to better your game. Take on mini-games and even order food to your bay while you play.

Not only is there a 18-hole 180 acree course at China Fleet but the club has its own Woodland Adventure Mini-Golf Course. No booking is required, just turn up and navigate the ramps, hazards and obstacles to shoot the lowest score possible. It's a great day out for all of the family from avid golfers to putting novices!

The China Fleet is also home to a hotel offering idyllic stays to accompany your golfing trip. Check out the China Fleet's hotel accommodation, with several apartments to stay at.

                  

Plymouth Golf Centre

Although not a golf course Plymouth Golf Centre is a great facility to brush up on your game before heading out onto the course for real.

With a vast number of bays at the driving range, as well as state-of-the-art Trackman Range Technology you can put your skills to the test with many targets to aim for. The Trackman Technology analyses every shot you hit giving you accurate data to help boost your game.

On site is also an American Golf store where you can browse the latest range of clubs and clothing, as well as a 9-hole footgolf course where you can battle it out to see who's the top footgolfer!

                          

Paradise Island Adventure Golf

This definitely counts as a proper golf course! Head to Paradise Island Adventure Golf Course at Drake Circus, The Barcode for 36 holes of family-dun at the mini golf course!

Navigate loop the loops, volcanoes, statues, obstacles, ramps and more at the indoor venue as you bid to go round in the fewest shots possible! After you've finished take aim at the special '19th hole' and if you get your aim correct and score it in one you win another free round of mini golf!

                              

St Mellion

Take on 36 holes of championship standard golf at the immaculate St Mellion Golf Course. The Nicklaus Signature Course, the first European course to be designed by golfing great Jack Nicklaus, and the Kernow Resort Course are situated here and have won awards including Best Golf Course' in the West of England over the years.

Just 25 minutes away from Plymouth across the Cornish border, a round of golf here is well worth it. The course also has its own accommodation if you're coming for a golf trip, take a look at St Mellion Estate.

                  

Whitsand Bay Golf Club

Nestled on the Cornish Coast, Whitsand Bay Golf Club is a 20-minute drive from Plymouth and you'll be rewarded with stunning views out to sea while you play. The course is situated on hilly terrain, and there are some testing long holes to challenge any golfer. The signature 18th hole is not one to miss, firing from the top of the hill and landing on the bunker-defended green near the clubhouse below.

                    

Staddon Heights Golf Club

Staddon Heights Golf Club arguably has some of the best views of Plymouth of any golf club in the area. Situated above Jennycliff to the east of the city, take to the cliff tops and gaze across the course which looks out over Plymouth Sound, Drake's Island and onto the city. The par 70 course will challenge golfers of all abilities, but it's well worth a visit for its stunning scenery.

                

Boringdon Park Golf Club

Head to Boringdon Park Golf Club in Plymouth for fascinating panoramic views over the city. The club is home to two parkland golf courses, varying in difficulty which are dotted with lakes, ponds and bunkers.

The golf club also has an 18-bay floodlit range to brush up on your skills, each bay boasts Top Tracer technology allowing you to see how fast, and far you can hit the ball, as well as virtual mini-games to better your game.

                      

Elfordleigh Golf Club

Countryside fairways, wonderful woodland and exquisitely kept greens. All at Elfordleigh Golf Club, the course just outside Plymouth offers stunning views on its par 70 course which winds around the Devon countryside. The par 3,12th hole named Anglers' Haven offers an unforgettable tee shot from an elevated tee over a pond to a green surrounded by bunkers.

                    

Yelverton Golf Club

Journey north to Dartmoor and take on the countryside course at Yelverton Golf Club. The moorland course was designed way back in 1904 and incorporates some of the natural environment among the hazards to avoid on the course, these include old mine workings and leats to steer clear of while you play.
