Take part in a vocal workshop or try out a Climavore Picnic

Join artist Hanna Tuulikki for a vocal workshop on Saturday 12 November followed by an improvised waterside performance on Sunday 13 November as part of British Art Show 9. Come together to sing an improvised lamentation based on fragments of Scottish seal-calling songs.

Workshop: 12 Nov, 2pm (duration: 2.5 hours). Location: The Arts Institute, Plymouth University

Cosplay at Plymouth Comic Con and Gaming Festival

Visit Devon Comic Con and Gaming Festival for a great family day out on Saturday 12 November, 10am to 4:30pm at Plymouth Life Centre. See displays from popular film and TV shows and buy from traders offering comics, gaming stock and collectables.

Attendees age 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult although they highly recommend an adult is with all under 16s

Watch ‘Hold Tight’ at the Barbican Theatre

See Hold Tight at the Barbican Theatre on Saturday 12 November at 7.30pm. It explores how adverse childhood experience, abrupt change and separation impact on young people’s lives. The production reflects on home, family and belonging.

Age Guidance 14+. This production may contain scenes that some people might find upsetting.

Pay your respects at Remembrance Sunday

Join The Lord Mayor, Councillor Sue Dann, the Lord Mayor’s Consort, Councillor Chris Mavin and the Deputy Lieutenant of Devon for this year's Remembrance Sunday Service on Plymouth Hoe.

The service will remember all those who lost their lives in both World Wars and in all conflicts. It will begin with a two-minute silence at the Royal Naval Memorial at 11am.

Plymouth is easily accessible by train with a wide range of services running from a variety of locations within England. Although some services may require a change or two.
