All treats, no tricks!

With a bonus hour to fill on Sunday as the clocks go back, here’s our five top tips for things to see and do this Halloween weekend in Plymouth.

Follow the splats to win a spooky prize

Head to the Barbican this weekend and follow the ‘Don’t Feed the Sea Ghouls’ Halloween trail, find all the splats in the windows throughout the waterfront and you’ll be able to claim a prize! Perfect for keeping little monsters entertained! With some spook-tastic illuminations in the evenings, it’s a great Halloween family outing.

Indulge in desserts, doughnuts - or gourmet burgers

Treat the kids to an end of half-term meal out, or indulge in a tasty lunch for two at one of Plymouth's newest restaurants. Crispy's recently opened on Armada Way in the city centre and specialised in burgers and delicious desserts. The menu includes five different types of cookie dough and scrumptious milkshakes!

Get Funky in Central Park at the Funky Llama Festival

Theatre Royal Plymouth’s flagship community event Funky Llama Festival returns this Plymouth. Head to Central Park on Friday 29 or Saturday 30 October for some Big Top magic and funky Halloween fun. The festival welcomes families and friends and is open to all ages and all abilities. The party is set to continue as the sun goes down with cabaret acts, live music and a silent disco.

Tickets are £10, or £5 for under 18s.

Use that bonus hour to enjoy a delicious brunch

It’s time for the clocks to go back this Sunday 31 October, and that means an extra hour to enjoy. Why not kick back and enjoy an extra long brunch? There's so much on offer, from bottomless brunches at Bonne Sante, to more traditional breakfast fare at Boston Tea Party or The Dock
