Theatre Royal Plymouth
War Horse – 29 August to 15 September
Based on the beloved novel by Michael Morpurgo, this powerfully moving and imaginative drama, filled with stirring music and songs, is a show of phenomenal inventiveness.
Unconditional – 11 to 15 September
This touching and laugh-out-loud hilarious show is a joyous celebration of equality and liberation between a mother and her grown-up daughter. Suitable for ages 14+.
Faulty Towers Dining Experience – 18 and 19 September [SOLD OUT]
Take a seat in the Faulty Towers restaurant and be waited upon by Basil, Sybil and Manuel in this fully immersive, highly improvised comedy dining experience!
The Unreturning – 20 September to 6 October
A compelling new play, The Unreturning explores the effect of war on young lives and asks what does coming home really mean? Suitable for ages 14+.
Murder Mystery Dining Experience – 21 September
Travel back to 1921 with this murder mystery experience, including a three course meal and complimentary glass of fizz.
Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake – 22 to 29 September
This exciting re-imagining of the classic production, perhaps still best known for replacing the female corps-de-ballet with a menacing male ensemble, will be a thrilling and emotive watch.
Barbican Theatre
Frankie Vah – 22 September
Dealing with love, loss, and belief, against a backdrop of skuzzy indie venues and 80s politics, expect frenetic guitars, visceral verse, and a Morrissey-sized measure of heartache.
Soapbox Children's Theatre
Story Stomp - 14 September
A fun and accessible multi-sensory workshop aimed at under 5s.
