Join your Guide on this walking tour of the Royal Citadel, and learn about the 350 years plus of the stories the fortress has to offer. Commanding a prominent position on Plymouth Hoe, looking out over the expanse of the Sound and into the Channel and Western Approaches, it has seen the unfolding of so many events in the nation's history.

Please arrive promptly at 14:00 for the security checks, late comers will not be admitted
No mobile phones, electronic devices, unsealed liquids, large bags including rucksacks and shopping bags.
No photography allowed
No dogs
There are no public toilets or parking facilities on site
All visitors are required to produce photographic ID (Driving Licence, Passport)
All bags will be searched and in some cases a handheld detector may be used
There are no steps, but some ramps.
The tour is all in the outdoors, be aware of the weather
