SOUNDS OF THE WORLD
Come and join us for a musical journey around the globe with Pogo Events. On Friday 1st August we will be celebrating live world music and reggae on an international scale at Home Park's open air venue in Plymouth!
THE LINE UP:
AFRIQUOI
Afriquoi are an underground sensation, bringing an uplifting fusion of African music and live electronics. The masterful 5-piece live show combines Gambian kora, Congolese guitar + Mandinka percussion styles with electronic music drawing on house, garage, disco, soul + jungle to create something entirely unique.
FLORENCE ADOONI
Florence Adooni, is a Ghanaian Gospel singer, songwriter, and a graphic designer who hails from Zuarungu in the Upper East Region of Ghana. Florence Adooni brings powerful Frafra Gospel from Ghana's musical heartland to the global stage.
Rooted in the rich traditions of Ghana's Fra Fra culture and propelled by cosmic production from Philophon Records' visionary Max Weissenfeldt, Florence Adooni's newest album release is a bold fusion of ancestral rhythms and forward-thinking grooves.
DA FUCHAMAN AND HIS FIRE BLAZE BAND
Da Fuchaman is an International Reggae Recording Artist from St Ann Jamaica, now based in Bristol, UK. In 2016 he formed his live band, Da Fuchaman and his Fire Blaze Band. He and his ten-piece collective have been taking the festival scene by storm
