About us
Have you ever wanted a sleepover in the UK's largest Aquarium surrounded by our fantastic Ocean life? This Sleeping with Sharks sleepover is a brilliant and unforgettable opportunity as you get to see what happens in the underwater world around us.
The experience is designed for kids and their guardians to create that special family memory. Our experience is an engaging way to better educate yourself in how to help preserve our fantastic marine environment!
Explore the aquarium at night and see our amazing creatures up close before sleeping in front of our Eddystone Reef tank that contains fantastic local species such as sharks, crabs, lobsters and eels! Throughout the night, our team will provide fascinating educational insights about the marine life you're sharing your space with. You'll learn about the importance of Ocean conservation and what you can do to help #thinkocean! The evening plan: Arrival from 6:30pm – ensure you have had tea/dinner before you arrive.
Introduction & activities start from 7:00pm. Twilight tour – a chance to see what the fish get up to at night! Games in the exhibits. Big screen movie in front of the Eddystone Reef tank. Midnight snack. Sleep in our Eddystone Reef exhibit. In the morning breakfast will be provided in Wave Café. Depart at between 8:30 / 9:00am the following day.
You will need to bring with you; Something to sleep in (not pyjamas in case you need to get up in the night). A sleeping bag & pillow. Roll mat or blow up air bed. (For the comfort of the other guests and to fit everyone in the space, we highly suggest only bringing a double air bed if there are two people using it. We also don't recommend bringing headboards as to allow all visitors to see the movie) Don't forget your toothbrush!
