All proceeds will be donated to: Inner City Seeds

Inner City Seeds is a community gardening group set up by Helen Moore which aims to establish a new approach to treating mental health problems in urban spaces in the City. City areas have the highest rates of mental health problems including drug addiction which can lead to homelessness and a diminished life expectancy. We want to stop this cycle by offering a social prescribing service where recipients help to create green spaces in the City where we utilise fly-tipped areas or unused pieces of land. We transform these spaces to grow and learn together, to help wildlife thrive and create a sense of community which tackles issues such as social isolation, rumination and a lack of connection. We learn together how to grow our own food, how to cook basic meals, how to store our food and the natural medicinal benefits which exist in what we grow and what already grows wild amongst us. We challenge how mental health is seen and treated and together we create positive changes in ourselves and in our communities.

Featured guests include: Silver Roots Houseplants, Heyl Bakery, Vessel Beer Shop, Twisted Plant Roots, Heart For Art, Botanical Boheme, Inner City Seeds, Rebel Botanists, Rebecca Clough Ceramics, Viola Art Studio, Ikigai Print Making, Poole Farm.
