Our popular Murder Mystery evenings are from £65 per person and include a three-course meal alongside an evening of wicked entertainment from the Candlelight Theatre Company.
Guests of our Murder Mystery evenings are welcome to an exclusive 15% discount on accommodation (bed and breakfast), should they dare to stay the night.
Friday 30th May - 'Back to the 80's'
Plot
The 80’s gave us so much...Saved by the Bell, Top Gun, Goonies, Bon Jovi and Die Hard. It’s 1989 and you are invited to THE New Years Eve party to end all parties. Daniel and Ali seem to be the perfect couple and have invited friends and family to this celebration, but no one is that perfect and will everyone at the party still be alive by the end or is there a Lethal Weapon in the room. Fancy dress is not obligatory but if you want to dress up the all is good with us, so will you be Robocop? Ferris Bueller? Madonna? The Ghostbusters?
The list is endless. We got away with a lot in the 80’s but will someone get away with murder?

Friday 27th June - 'Life's a beach, then you die!'
Plot
Who doesn’t like the idea of a good engagement? The happy couple have invited their friends and family to their Hawaii themed engagement party. It is fitting as they met whilst on a surfing lesson in Hawaii 5 years ago. Not everyone is a fan of these two getting engaged so the evening is not likely to end up happily ever after.
So break out your board shorts, your grass skirts, dust off your sunglasses, find a Hawaiian shirt that would make Magnum P.I. jealous and lets have a party.

Plot
The former judges of Strict Lee’s Come Dancing show are having a VIP dinner to celebrate the relaunch of the famous show after 5 years off the air. They have just had a one off reunion show and the ratings were through the roof, the network wants them back...but at what cost.
How do the older judges feel about the new young judge Isabella? Will Lee ever crack a smile? And where did Apollo get that outfit?

Friday 31st October - 'The Ghosthunters'
Plot
A group of paranormal investigators who are at the top of their field, the Ghosthunters, are investigating some paranormal activity. Legend has it that in this very venue 100 years ago someone killed the ancestors of Miss Darling. Now on the anniversary of these killings Dr Clark Eldrich and his crack team of ghosthunters investigate the ghastly goings on. Will they make it through the evening alive?

1893 and the Widow Snozbottom doesn’t have a lot of money but she has saved a few pounds from her yearly wage to throw a party for all her friends at her favourite place….Belcher Towers. She is looking forward to seeing everyone from William Marley, her close friend Prudence and her new friend, a young writer by the name of Charles Dickens. Of course no party can go without a hitch and what will happen if they disturb the resident miser Cyrus Belcher?
