MTV is returning to Plymouth this summer with an unforgettable four-day music extravaganza.
Running from Wednesday 5 to Saturday 8 June, MTV Music Week will see a huge range of acts perform in the city at live evening shows, along with inspirational daytime events targeted at young people with a passion for music.
Evening events:
MTV Push, Wednesday 5 June, The Treasury
Each month MTV showcases the hottest emerging talent as part of MTV Push live nights and on the 5 June will come to Plymouth to kick off Music Week in style! This is official Music Week launch party with a selection of stripped back, exclusive live performances.
Artists announced include Hamzaa, Jvck James and Ray BLK, with host Tinea Taylor.

MTV Presents, Thursday 6 June, Plymouth Pavilions
MTV Presents is bringing the best in live Rock and Indie music, artists announced include The Vaccines, Yungblud, The Amazons and Pale Waves, with host Jack Saunders.

YO! MTV Raps, Friday 7 June, The Hub
YO! MTV Raps: Plymouth is a one-off special live event show that celebrates unique style and sound, and reminds the rest of the world why Great Britain is currently leading the way when it comes to creativity in rap and hip-hop music today. The event will be filmed and will bring the UK’s finest together to perform, support and celebrate one another.
Artists announced include Ghetts, Ms Banks and Young T & Bugsey, with host Snoochie Shy.

We have cancelled the Club MTV event that was set to take place on Saturday 8th June as part of MTV Music Week Plymouth’s line-up and apologise for any disappointment caused by this decision. All current ticket holders for Club MTV have been contacted directly and will be refunded in full. There is still a wide variety of curated events taking place across the week for fans to enjoy, including music events MTV Presents and YO! MTV Raps. Daytime events:
MTV Breaks will be presenting a series of free daytime events including talks, panels and workshops focusing on everything from networking skills, inclusion and social influencers to UK rap music and women in music.
Music fans can also sign up for a DJ workshop at The Hub and speed networking events to meet music industry professionals.
Geordie Shore stars Chloe Ferry and Sam Gowland will be taking part in the ‘Social Influencers’ panel. The reality stars will discuss what it means to be a social influencer in 2019, as well as revealing how they grew their following and established their brands. They’ll be joined by HeatWorld’s Digital Content Editor Carl Smith, Syco Music’s Digital Marketing Manager Charlie Martin and social influencer Tessa Durkin, who has worked with brands including UNILAD.
