Carnival Parade
Join in the exciting Dragons and Mystical Beasts themed carnival parade featuring a smoke breathing dragon and 2 baby dragons.

The Carnival Parade leaves Frankfort Gate at 11am travelling up New George Street and down Cornwall Street before returning to Frankfort Gate at 12pm.
Groups involved
Expect to see a colourful procession of performers, including Dragons, Taiko Drummers, Plymouth Dance CIC, Above Bounds Theatre, Animate Theatre CIC, Broken Puppet, Crooked Tempo Samba Band, Crumbling Rocks Theatre, Cruise Plymouth, Devonport Community Choir, Elements, Far Flung Dance Theatre, REACH Wrestling and more to be announced.
About the groups
Plymouth Dance CIC connects, creates, and celebrates dance in Plymouth with compassion and integrity. Their mission is to inclusively engage people and communities through citywide partnership projects, using dance to nourish, enrich, and empower social change.
Above Bounds Theatre create magical theatrical experiences for children, with children, and have been surprising and mesmerising audiences in Plymouth with their puppet encounters for the last 8 years, as well as touring their pop-up theatre shows for families to community locations, and working with hundreds of children in schools and nurseries across the city.
Animate Theatre CIC is a theatre company run for and by disabled adults based in Plymouth. We create inclusive, professional work celebrating the talent of the disabled community.
Broken Puppet are a collective of local puppetry artists and creative practitioners working with communities across the South West region to produce 'Spirits of the Sea', in collaboration with Ocean Conservation Trust and the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth.
Crooked Tempo Samba Band are bright, colourful and full of energy, bringing a feast of irresistible rhythms from Brazil and beyond.
Crumbling Rocks Theatre is an organisation that provides creative training experiences designed to promote health and wellbeing through acting, movement and stage combat.

Elements is a Plymouth-based Taiko drumming group offering community workshops and performing across the South West. Taiko, a Japanese art form, combines ensemble drumming with body movement ("Kata") and vocalization ("Kiai"). Elements Plymouth shares pieces showcasing diverse forms and expressions of energy.
Far Flung Dance Theatre is a disabled-led, creative arts company based in Plymouth.
REACH Wrestling stars will be available for a Meet and Greet afterward the Parade.
