About us
Soroptimists Plymouth, together with Trevi would like to invite you to join their community walk through the town centre of Plymouth, and up to the Nancy Astor statue on The Hoe.
This is a peaceful charitable walk in support of the 16 days of activism, and is chosen to take place on 25th November as this is the International day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
The Leadership and Executives of Plymouth support this event, which will be opened by the Lord Mayor, and closed by Alexis Bowater OBE.
Britvic TANGO are sponsoring the event, especially with the ORANGE THEME.
We want to make a sea of Orange and really show our support for this worthy cause.
Please join us with your banners, placards, posters wearing all or something ORANGE, bring along your dogs and where possible show your support and dress them in some way ORANGE.
COME ON ... let's Orange Plymouth and help ORANGE THE WORLD
We will start at the Green by Drake Circus on Cornwall Street next to M&S, we will walk in a zigzag through the City Centre and along to Theatre Royal, then along and up to the Hoe, by Smeaton's Tower and finish by the Nancy Astor Statue.
