About us
Lampshade making work shop run by Rachel from Gosh! & Absolutely (otherwise known as 'the lampshade shop on the Barbican'!). Participants will each make a 25cm drum lampshade for either a lamp base or ceiling pendant. The workshop is suitable for complete novices, but also includes plenty of tips and tricks to achieve a professional finish if you have already had a go yourself. Take home a beautiful hand crafted lampshade to add to your home decor.
All materials are provided, with a wide selection of fabric panels to choose from, but you are welcome to bring your own fabric if you prefer.
The workshops take place in the shop at 44 Southside Street and attendees can enjoy 10% discount off all products (from both Gosh! & Absolutely and Rockpool Trading) during the workshop. Sessions are 2 to 2.5 hours long
