About us
An exciting new tour package launching September 2022. The beautiful Southwest coast of England has been our home for over 200 years, and we are continuously inspired by both the landscape and people who live here.
In collaboration with the Family Foraging Kitchen, join us on a foraging workshop where you will learn the traditional and sustainable skills of sourcing wild ingredients. After a 2-hour hedgerow adventure, you will have gathered both wild and kitchen garden spices, herbs, seaweeds and more. You will then discover how to use these ingredients to create Plymouth Gin cocktails and a selection of seasonal wild canapes on the beach.
Join Vix Hill-Ryder at the Plymouth Gin Distillery at 10:30am Saturday 3rd September before catching the ferry over from Devon into Cornwall, as we arrive at Mount Edgecumbe. A 2-hour workshop across the country park finishes at the historic Barn Pool, where Vix will prepare cocktails and canapes for you to enjoy while looking out over Drakes Island and Plymouth Hoe. After a short trip back to the Barbican on the ferry, the tour concludes in our Refectory Bar, where you can enjoy a final drink.
Tour price is inclusive of everything above, but we do recommend that you bring a light lunch with you, to enjoy alongside the beach canapes and cocktails.
