DEVCON sci-fi, toy, film & comic fair 2024 is returning to Plymouth on Sunday 15 September!
Offering All things 'WHO', Dinosaurs + Guests Actors from 'A Galaxy Far Far Away'!
DEVCON Sci-Fi, Toy, Film & Comic Fair – Sun 15 September - Crown Plaza Hotel, Plymouth Hoe.
We're so excited about running our Event at the new Venue & boy oh boy have we got a fabulous Event planned for everyone! Creating Smiles & raising funds for 'Young Minds Charity'. A great day for sci-fi fans and all the family alike! The Event boasts Film & TV Actors, namely Paul McGann, Sarah Sutton – of Doctor WHO fame, plus Pam Rose, Laurie Goods & Chris Bunn – Known for numerous roles in Star Wars & so much more! An opportunity to have your pic taken & chat to our Guest Stars, as well as purchase a signed Autograph! The list of their Film & TV credits is huge & they're all super keen to share their many tales of working in the industry with our DEVCON visitors.
Once again, our first Event of the year, will have a 'Superhero/heroine' Theme, open to all ages & though definitely not a must, we encourage you to don your favourite costume & join in the many fun activities in our dedicated Cosplay Zone (located on 1st Floor) Great Prizes To Be Won! Children can visit our Dinosaur & Crafting Zone, join in our Fossil & Dino Egg hunt & have a pic taken with our giant Daddy Dino & his family of little dinosaurs … don't worry they're super friendly!
Come & meet DEVCON's Star Wars Troopers, Darth Vader & Chewbacca, as well as 2 Doctor WHO Daleks! Step into our world of fantasy & 'snap-ture' lots of memories to treasure, against one of our many Movie Props & Back drops.
70+ Super Stalls, Comics Galore, including Zine & model making making tutorials – Authors & writers. offering expert advice, as well as hugely talented artists, Toys Toys Toys - exclusive collectibles, plus all the high street favourites. 3D works & prints, Lego, Jewellery, Clothing, Steam punk, anime, kawaii, accessories of all sorts & lots more.
So, all in all a Fun & Fabulous Day Out DEVCON looks forward to welcoming you all!
