Win an unforgettable adventure with the turtle feeding experience at The Aquarium

The National Marine Aquarium is hosting a special experience, which lets you feed Friday, their green sea turtle, from the top of the UK's deepest tank!

Ahead of the official launch on 6 October 2023, the National Marine Aquarium is giving you the chance to win a Feed the Turtle experience for you and 3 other guests. Sign up on the National Marine Aquarium website to enter.

What is included in this exclusive experience:

• An introduction to their food preparation area and how they feed their 5000 animals.  
• Preparation of Friday’s tasty lunch, participants 18+ are only permitted to use our knives. 
• A overview of their seagrass work and the link to Turtle’s natural diet of seagrass in the wild. 
• Animal introduction with their Supervisor in front of the Atlantic Ocean Tank. 
• Explanation and populating of the ‘Feeding Record Sheet’ after weighing Friday’s food.  
• A demonstration of the equipment they use to feed Friday and the importance of ‘operant conditioning’. 
• 15 minutes feeding Friday! 

Competition Terms and Conditions

• Competition will be active from 29/09/2023 – 5/10/2023 at 12pm
• Winner will be contacted on 5/10/2023 by the National Marine Aquarium.
• You have to be 18+ to enter
• The prize will be a Feed The Turtle Experience which allows you and 3 other guests to join you on a date of your choice. Participants must be a minimum 8+ and be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18+.
• The prize will still adhere to the terms and conditions of the experience, please read below.
• Experience will launch to the public on the 6/10/2023
