Tom Jones Plymouth concert rescheduled to September in Central Park

Tom Jones has today confirmed that his concert in Plymouth has been re-scheduled to Saturday 18 September 2021, with a change to the venue also announced.

The original date of 18 June, which was due to take place on The Hoe, falls before Government restrictions are due to be lifted (June 21) for large scale events. The re-scheduled date of Saturday 18 September will allow organisers time to ensure the safest, most secure environment for all fans attending.
Due to operational and logistical considerations, the venue of the concert has also been changed and will now take place in Central Park. Thanks must be given to Plymouth City Council, who have worked extremely hard to make this concert happen in what has been an unprecedented time for all concerned.

It promises to be an unforgettable night of entertainment in Central Park and a return to the South West for Tom Jones, much to the delight of his fans.

It has been another busy year for Tom Jones, as he continued his role as a coach on the latest series of The Voice alongside Olly Murs, Anne-Marie and will.i.am whilst also getting ready to release a brand new album – Surrounded By Time, which was recorded in his native Wales for the very first time.

It has been such a tough time for everyone with no live events being able to take place for more than a year. By re-locating the concert to Central Park, we are able to take advantage of better facilities and have been able to involve the football club who have been extremely supportive and will be also offering a hospitality upgrade. We must extend our thanks to Plymouth City Council for their on-going support, who have been extremely flexible and worked really hard to make the change of venue possible.
