Discover Plymouth after the Blitz; the vision of a modern city.
Take a journey through Plymouth City Centre to discover how the people of Plymouth rebuilt their city after the Second World War to deliver Abercrombie and Paton-Watson's Plan for Plymouth. This unique post-war architecture was given planning protection in 2019 as the new City Centre Conservation Area.
This 1.9 mile trail takes around one hour. It is relatively flat, and suitable for wheelchairs.
There are pay toilets in the centre of the route, most easily accessible from stops 3 and 6. There is an accessible toilet in this block which requires a radar key. There are various options for refreshments on the route.
