About us

Welcome to The Bank! A beauty of a Plymouth pub.

The Bank may be one of the most handsome pubs in Plymouth, being a rare survivor of World War II bombing raids, but there's plenty of substance behind the style...

Unsurprisingly a former bank, this characterful listed building is as elegant on the inside as it is on the out, with an intriguing little foyer and lots of original features. Our wide range of beers and hearty pub-food are a big a draw for locals, as is our heated pub garden, which is always packed with people over the summer. We also have a handy stage area that's perfect for live bands and karaoke.

We offer:

•Cracking deals on food & drink

•Speciality beers and real ales

•Large heated beer garden

•Live entertainment

Good, solid pub-food at great value prices. That's what you'll find at The Bank in Plymouth.

In our book the British classics are the best. Fish and chips. Bangers and mash. Pie and a pint... Well, you can't have a pie without a pint. We've got loads more on the menu, though, with burgers and stackers through to our curry and grill dishes. Lots of tasty choice for everyone.
