Comedy returns to Tavistock! Come brighten up these dark times and get some laughter back in your life. Local Plymouth Promoters "A Press of Suspects {presents}'' are returning to bring their unique brand of comedy night to good ol' Tavy! Taking place in the unusual setting of the old Courtroom at the reopened World Heritige Guildhall on the 28th October. This night promises to be a bundle of laughs with a great varied line up with FIVE fantastic comics. Tickets either £10/14, pay what you can afford - you'd be a fool to miss out . Your Line Up:
Jane Hill: Jane has been doing stand-up comedy since 2005, performing all around the country and reaching the finals of English Comedian of the Year in 2009. She's gigged for venues and promoters all over the UK including The Stand, Komedia, The Glee Club, Mirth Control, Funhouse, Buzz Comedy and Cosmic Comedy.
"Jane Hill demonstrates a presence and confidence on stage that rivals many established comics and has well crafted and constructed gags that are both funny and also personal, yet she also has an ability to react and interact with the audience 'off script' if required which makes her versatile too - recommended." Tom Rodgers: Tom is one of the many up and coming comedians out of Cornwall and has gigged all across the country. High energy, fresh observations and hilarious tales on Cornish life. Tom has been gigging since December 2018 and can be found hosting Comedy Jam at Toast, Falmouth, the Wozzon Tour and First Draught Comedy. Regularly on pro bills. He has featured in The Guardian, The West Briton and Cornwall Live.
Frankie Doré: 10 year + Plymouthian Frankie has become a regular on the South West comedy circuit over the last few years. His tales of life as a (late) 30 something male have entertained at pubs, clubs, and festivals across the South of England. A disarming and sharp witted fella indeed!
Krishna Hurry: A newcomer to the world of stand up, with only a few gigs under his belt Krishna is already picking up slots over the South West, a charming and engaging personality shines through this delightful chap!
