About us

Join WonderZoo as they explore their project, 'Hidden Figures of Plymouth'. Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, its aim is to highlight the lives and achievements of people of Global Majority backgrounds, past and present, linked to Plymouth.
This talk, led by lead by Slain McGough Davey, Jackie Wacha and Rachel Hawadi, will focus on two past figures: Jimmy Peters, the first black rugby player to play for England, and Ann Wilkinson, a black activist who co-founded the Plymouth Respect Festival.
