Plymouth Comedy Club returns to The Plymouth Athenauem with a fantastic line up this autumm: Andre Vincent, Meryl O'Rourke & Scott Bennett - plus MC Chris Brooker!

Winter is coming... Cliched but true. How will you keep your spirits up as the night draws in and the temperature drops? Let Plymouth's home grown comedy club take the burden from you as the Athenaeum presents another world class line up.

Headliner Andre Vincent is a man familiar to anyone that's been a regular at the Comedy Store in London or any of the nation's top flight clubs. Hailing back to the original days of the alternative circuit and with his roots deeply planted in British variety, this phenomenal entertainer has trodden the boards worldwide. One part everyman, one part showiz tour de force... Andre has countless TV credits to his name and is a familiar face at festivals all over. "The energy of Lee Evans... The improvisational ability of Paul Merton... One of the best comedians in the business!" said The Times. Can we call him Andre The Giant Of Comedy? Yes. Yes we can.

Support is provided by Meryl O'Rourke, drier than than the dryest Martini yet infinitely funnier with a string of five star reviews and writing credits longer than your arm. You'll also see Scott Bennett, a man that's being quietly hailed as the next breakout touring star of British comedy that could well steal the show.

The night will be held together by resident MC Chris Brooker and ticket holders will also receive a wristband allowing them free entry into the Popworld club night afterwards. Not Chris though, he's too old for all that noise.
