About us

Dive into the surreal world of acclaimed circus troupe, Cirque Du Soleil, through the wonders of virtual reality.

Immerse yourself in three thrilling VR films that will transport you to vibrant lands, rich with strange spectacles and illusions, where fire and water dance and mystical beings roam. With oceanic acrobatics, breathtaking battles, snake-like contortions and astonishing aerials, this spectacular journey of the senses is not to be missed.

Limina are leaders in VR exhibition, placing you, the audience, at the heart of what they do. Come and experience this brand new art form in the University's new and cutting-edge Immersive Visualisation Lab.

Act one: Dreams of ‘O’

Dreams of “O” captures a surreal and amphibious tableau of whimsical characters unlike any other. Brace yourself for an ethereal and fantastical visual journey that takes you up in the air with daring dives, and underwater for stunning aquatic sequences.

By Cirque du Soleil and Felix & Paul Studios.

Act two: KÁ The Battle Within

Experience a virtual reality epic adventure of heroism and martial arts. Two rival clans from an ancient and mythical world confront one another in a furious clash of vertiginous acrobatics and breathtaking combat. The very fabric of reality is transcended, as the physical world is broken into horizontal and vertical choreographies.

By Cirque du Soleil and Felix & Paul Studios.

Act three: Through the Masks of Luzia

Cirque du Soleil’s Masks of Luzia is a circus VR journey through an imaginary Mexico. Choreographed by world-leading acrobatic choreographers Silvia Gertrúdix González and Edesia Moreno Barata, Through the Masks of Luzia aims to awaken your senses and transport you to a place suspended between dreams and reality. Freely inspired by Mexico, Luzia is a poetic and acrobatic ode to the rich, vibrant culture of a country, featuring incredible puppetry, contortionists, masks, acrobatics and more.

By Cirque du Soleil, Felix & Paul, Francois Blouin, Félix Lajeunesse, Paul Raphaël.

Venue: Immersive Media Lab, Roland Levinsky Building
