About us

We are proud to announce that we will be exhibiting the work of two recent graduates from
the Plymouth Arts University. Suzi Humphries' ceramic vessels and metal and glass sculptures by Harry Chadwick.
Both just gained their first class honours degree in 3D Design Crafts.

Suzi's wheel thrown vessel forms using black and white stoneware clay. These are then decorated with crater and crawl glazes to give texture and tactility to each piece. The result are large scale statement pieces, impactful both in appearance and in concept. Her ceramics are examining interpretations and contradictions of the inner self.

Harry creates colourful and striking sculptures combining metal and glass. His inspiration harks back to the brightly coloured images of the Pop Art Movement of the 1950s. With his 'Pop Futurism' range he explores the use of once commonplace tools and turned them into highly decorative and contemporary sculptures.

Their work will be on display from 1st October to 15th November 2022 and we would love for you to come along and experience it.

The gallery is open from 10:00 am to 17:00 pm, 7 days a week.
