It’s important for us to share our latest news and developments with you, which is why we host an Annual Tourism Conference in November and a Destination Plymouth Networking event each spring. These events hosts relevant guest speakers and provides lots of opportunities for networking.
Social Media
With over 80k followers on Facebook, 25k on Twitter and 3.9k on Instagram, we have a formidable social presence that’s ever-growing. We schedule in a certain amount of social media coverage based on our members membership levels, but to maximise your presence even further, we encourage you to create and share regualr content with us.
Use our hashtags (#VisitPlymouth and tag us (@VisitPlymouth / VisitPlym) in your own posts. That way our followers are likely to come across your content and we are able to engage with and share posts where appropriate.
Competitions
We like to run competitions in line with our themed campaigns, giving the public the chance to win unrivalled experiences from our members. We give the campaigns and competitions enhanced exposure across all our digital platforms, particularly social media. We run the competitions as an online form where we provide the option for entrants to recieve further communications from the competition partners - therefore providing data for your own business.
There is often a cost to get involved with our campaigns, which can vary depending on the scale of the campaign. Please contact Lauren Lyons for more information - Lauren.lyons@plymouth.gov.uk

Our members are automatically subscribed to receive our monthly Destination Plymouth e-newsletter that keeps you up to date with important industry news, campaigns we are working on and content callouts.
