Gothic Lincoln Cathedral towers above low-lying Lincolnshire, in eastern England. Its ancient spire, which was used as a beacon by pilots on return flights home during World War II, would still be recognisable to the Mayflower pilgrims and early US settlers who departed the county centuries ago.

Getting to Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire is approximately 120 miles north of London, in the East of England.
Travelling by rail from London, most trains to Lincolnshire depart from London Kings Cross or St Pancras.
