Learn more about the American servicemen who left an indelible mark on the landscape of Plymouth and South East Cornwall when they were stationed in the area before embarking at Mount Edgcumbe Park and sailing out through Plymouth Sound on their way to Omaha Beach during the D-Day Landings.
Join the tour at the historic Barbican where Plymouth Boat Trips will whisk you away to explore the Naval History of Plymouth before landing at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park. Here you will be treated to a delicious and traditional Cornish Cream afternoon tea in the beautiful 18th Century Orangery.
You will then head on to 16th Century Mount Edgcumbe House where you will take a trip back through history to learn how the servicemen stationed here at Mount Edgcumbe during WWII changed the landscape and history of this beautiful place forever.
