Thousands of American troops, armour, equipment and supplies were ferried from locations in Cornwall to the battlefields of northern France. The D-Day Landing are inscribed in history forevermore. The beaches and waterways of beautiful Cornwall played a large part in the preparation for this greatest of assaults. Book now to come and visit some of the places that were used by the US military to train for the landings and from where the joint Allied operation, turned the tide of the WWII towards its eventual end.
