Originally built in 1879 this beautiful Victorian property was formerly used as a private residential dwelling before being transformed into the Grosvenor Hotel in 1990.

Currently operating on a bed and breakfast basis, a full locally sourced and freshly cooked breakfast is included in your overnight price.

Our two guest lounges and TV room are friendly and inviting places to relax outside of your room and host a fully stocked licensed bar, a selection of freshly ground coffees and bar snacks. We have also invested heavily in a business quality WiFi set up, providing free unlimited wireless fibre broadband throughout all guest rooms and communal areas.

Being situated on the Plymouth Hoe, just 50 yards from the stunning views of the Plymouth Sound and less than 200 yards from the modern and bustling city centre, the Grosvenor Plymouth is the perfect residence for a wide variety of visitors. Whether for work, study, a holiday, visiting family or simply a well earned break, the personal touch and comforts of the hotel will certainly ensure an enjoyable stay.

Our small meeting space, ‘The Drake Room’, is available to hire.

With seating for up to approx 12 people, the Drake Room is the ideal venue for that small gathering or meeting. The room lends itself to many different uses from corporate meetings or interview days to small family gatherings or special occasions. It could be used for workshops such as art classes, photography, bridge clubs or even as a social for friends who maybe want a private area to use before going out, maybe wine tasting, or even a cocktail night. With fibre broadband WiFi, a 42 inch screen and the hotel hosting a fully licensed bar the choices are endless.

To add to the convenience of hiring the Drake Room we are also able to offer catering services. A fully cooked breakfast option is available between 7.00am and 9.30am for those early morning meetings. Or if you are with us slightly later into the day then there are a variety of lunchtime and evening options available to cater for your requirements.
