About us

Step back in time and learn about medieval lives at Buckland Abbey with archers, costumed characters and traders taking over the Abbey. A living history camp will be set up outside the Great Barn with demonstrations of historical crafts and medieval trades including cooking. Authentic methods and tools will be used, and visitors will be encouraged to ask questions and learn about the lives of these medieval traders. There will also be archery demonstrations on the Abbey lawn and a fashion display in the Barn.
